Igor told me some more things about yesterday's event. You already know that they didn't let Natasha, Anya Davydiva and Kostya in, Yanna and Yefim were pushing the door so hard, they nearly broke Natasha's leg.. I think, Arkadyevich enjoied this circus.
The main decision was about a rabbi and Judaism in Stavropol. Everyone (including betrayer Fishman) was against any Judaism in "Shalom", and they changed the Charters (Ustav), they took out the clause saying that a rabbi is a leader of the religous community. Then the prepared people were elected into a board, and they set the date (28th of May) for another meeting, when Yefim is going to tell them what he had done, and they will approve his activity enthusiastically. He does ANYTHING he /she wants.
Arkadyevich said FEOR is going to write a letter to governor Gayevsky about Shnyukov and his support of such "religious" organisations, which in reality are the worst extremists.
Sorry, it seems that Stavropol was not the best choice of yours....

I wrote back that of course it was our best choice, and we hope to return. After all, someone has to make sure the corruption happening by the 'leaders' of the community must be stopped, and there are thousands of Jews who need us.

I think it's amazing how the heaven's decreed that the Alter Rebbe sit in a small dingy cell with none of his former life's luxuries because he was spreading Chassidus. That was his prison.
What's inspiring is that nowadays, you go to spread Yiddishkeit and Chassidus to the world, yet the heavens decree that you must return to Amreica, the land of the free. You are now where most other 'normal' people in the world would only dream of being. You are in the physical paradise, yet for you this is prison.
The fact that you are unable to be with your Mokoim Shlichus in this world, being able to emanate the light of Chassidus to all the Jews there is such a prison for you... It's so inspiring to see such incredible Mesiras Nefesh to be able to fulfill the Shlichus of the Rebbe.
Halevai we should all have that same Mesiras Nefesh with only success and physical happiness and health in everything we need to do.
