Quick post, since there is much work to do.
Friday we did our first 'Hebrew meal', where only Hebrew was allowed. Both Gorovenko families, who lived in Israel 8 years ago and speak Hebrew fluently, as well as Mel Solomon, our regular, were expected to come.
Just before Shabbos though, a surprise guest arrived, and Borya Vineberg joined the meal. It was lively and fun, we spoke Torah, reminisced about Israel, and the Gorovenko's couldn't get enough of the food, particularly the Chatzilim and Chumus, which they hadn't eaten in 8 years. They were the first guests we have had who finished all the food we served.
Shabbos day the Faivushkins came, and stayed for the tnrie day. We discussed alot of Torah, and spoke about the upcoming crisis which is about to hit Russia. They stayed to light Menorah, and were fascinated by Havdalah.
Motzei Shabbos Borya Vineberg again dropped by randomly, to pick up a Menorah.
We gave him a dreidel and Sufganiyot to take home with the Chanukiyah.
